James Ridenour

Director and Board Chair

Mr. Ridenour was an audit partner with the national accounting and consulting firm Crowe Horwath LLP until his retirement in March 2016. He had 38 years of experience with Crowe Horwath specializing in serving various healthcare clients nationally. His specialty focus within healthcare was in senior living, long-term care, and hospice. He has spoken on topics including operational, reimbursement, organizational strategy, enterprise risk management, and organizational structure. Throughout his career, he has been involved in serving clients, in addition to traditional financial audits, in the areas of feasibility studies, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, HUD audits, mergers and acquisitions, and various operational studies. He was a graduate of Indiana State University in 1978 with a degree in accounting. Mr. Ridenour joined the Board in November 2016 and was elected as its Board Chair in 2020.
